Editorial policy

Each indexed Tire University manual receives individual development and review before publication. A published manual identifies the TireAds Editorial Desk as its organizational author, displays a review date, and provides supporting sources. Curriculum topic titles may be maintained internally for planning, but unfinished template lessons are not presented as published manuals or included in the search sitemap.

TireAds gives preference to primary and authoritative material, including vehicle and tire manufacturer documentation, NHTSA and other government safety resources, federal regulations, and recognized technical standards or industry guidance. Sources are selected for the subject of the manual and linked near the article. A source supports the research process; it does not imply that the source endorses TireAds.

TireAds educational material is general information, not a fitment approval, inspection certificate, repair instruction, legal opinion, or guarantee of safety. Readers should use the vehicle placard, owner documentation, applicable manufacturer instructions, current regulations, and a qualified tire professional for a specific vehicle or tire. Editorial language avoids unsupported claims such as safe, best, guaranteed, or road-ready.

The review date shows when TireAds last completed an editorial review; it is not a promise that every external source changed on that date. Material errors are corrected as soon as reasonably practical, and the review date is updated when a new review is completed.
